Visiting conditions

  • Good fitness is needed for the climb back up.
  • Closed, non-slip shoes: the steps can be wet.
  • Children must stay under constant adult supervision.
  • Do not touch the formations: they take thousands of years to grow.
  • Stay on the developed path and follow the staff's instructions.
  • Drones require an authorisation.

Safety

After an accident in 2016, the site was closed. From 2023 to 2026, works removed unstable blocks, installed a protective cage and nets, rebuilt the stairs and added LED lighting. The cave reopened at the end of July 2026.
